Lately I have discovered a great passion for getting work done and being responsible. It’s quite strange, because I think that 90% of seniors at this point are just scraping by until they get out (even the ones with normally good work ethic). Not me, no sir. I have acquired a pretty decent work ethic now, and it makes me very happy. I don’t stay up past midnight normally, yet I find that all of my homework is either done or can be done at school. It’s a crazy turnaround from last year, and I’m so thankful. I know this is God’s answer to my prayer, yaaaaayuhhhh. He has been a lot more visible in my life lately, and I find myself thanking him any time I smile or feel happy, and sometimes even when dumb things happen. I’m still having trouble connecting with others as much, but I think I’m improving. I am proactive, that’s the thing. I love it! Also, among all of this busy-ness in my life, I am not stressed. The one time that I was slightly stressed actually helped me to get the work done earlier rather than later, and I did not cry once. I believe I’m growing as a person, and that the Lord is behind it completely. I’m very excited for the things to come in the near future, although some of them are nerve-racking fersure. Ahhhh I don’t know, I just wanted to write this all down. This is proof that a person can change if they try hard enough and pray hard enough for that change.
One sad note: I’m bored with much of the music that I listen to, when I even get a chance to listen to it (which is usually in the car cause I’m so dang busy). I don’t pay attention to the music as much any more, and I have just straight up lost interest. It’s upsetting, because it’s such a big part of who I am. I guess I just need some variety; different artists, who actually sound like something new. So, idk, I guess.. If you’re reading this, buy or make me a CD, something I probably haven’t heard. Let’s see if we can fix eeeeet.
